What is Needed for Concrete Set-Up?
To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient pour, job sites must be properly prepared before our pump truck arrives. Here’s what we need:
- A safe, unobstructed path to the pour area
- Enough space for the truck to park, set up, and extend stabilizers
- Solid, level ground that can support the weight of the pump truck
- All debris, vehicles, and obstacles removed
- Overhead risks (power lines, trees, structures) cleared or identified
- A defined path for hoses and equipment
- Concrete scheduled to arrive on time
- Mix ordered according to project needs
- Continuous supply to avoid delays or cold joints
- A hose or water access for priming, clean-up, or adjustments
- Helps keep the setup efficient and the site clean
- A point person available when we arrive
- Clear instructions on where the pour is happening
- Any special considerations discussed ahead of time
