What is Needed for Concrete Set-Up?

To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient pour, job sites must be properly prepared before our pump truck arrives. Here’s what we need:

  • A safe, unobstructed path to the pour area
  • Enough space for the truck to park, set up, and extend stabilizers
  • Solid, level ground that can support the weight of the pump truck
  • All debris, vehicles, and obstacles removed
  • Overhead risks (power lines, trees, structures) cleared or identified
  • A defined path for hoses and equipment
  • Concrete scheduled to arrive on time
  • Mix ordered according to project needs
  • Continuous supply to avoid delays or cold joints
  • A hose or water access for priming, clean-up, or adjustments
  • Helps keep the setup efficient and the site clean
  • A point person available when we arrive
  • Clear instructions on where the pour is happening
  • Any special considerations discussed ahead of time
